Predicted Maximum Sunspot NumbersCycle 24: ------98 ± 21 Cycle 25: ------69 ± 15 Cycle 26: ------72 ± 15 Cycle 25 will be a long cycle (~13 years), maximum will occur five years following the minimum. I proposed impact generated shockwave for the origin of sunspots more than a decade ago. The predictions are based on the orbiting positions of the Jovian planets. Fitting to previous cycles is shown below.
